No one at Slalom is going to come after you for one role. If you were an MD or something taking a team with you, that's another story. But, we just don't have the mindset or legal attack dogs that some of the big 4 companies do.

Thanks for your perspective! I left on very good terms for an industry client that they are very interested in pursuing, so I figured it wouldn't be an issue, but got paranoid after re-reading my original offer agreement from Slalom.

No - they reached out to you, you did not recruit them. Don't refer them, but give them the info they ask for you'll be fine.

My friend is a Principal (Slalom M/SM equivalent), if that factors in at all

Nope

When I was navigating this with my old CDO, Just get clear email communication from them requesting info and stuff so they initiate it. This way, you aren’t recruiting them or referring them (so not breaking clause).

Thanks for the responses so far! I've just been paranoid since I texted something like, "well, if your interviews don't pan out at [other company] a peer of mine just left [my company]" -- and then I let her know I couldn't make an official referral.

Is the non-solicitation clause enforceable?

Getting some ideas about Fair compensation here. Will be good to get comparable salaries My profile - Age - 25yrs Currently Technical Business Analyst 3+ years of Exp. Earning - 83k + 7-10% performance Bonus Graduated from Univ. Of Waterloo (Top 5 in Canada) Got 2.1% raise today for next year. Not sure Whats the range is for my role. Glassdoor and other websites show 70 to 90k. All numbers are in Canadian Dollars Fishbowl description is false and not able to edit it

I only plan on staying in consulting for about 2 more years then off for an MBA. Would it be more worth it to take a level and pay raise at a different big4 moving to senior level rather than going to associate/analyst level at MBB? These are my two choices at the moment. I want to position myself best for post MBA jobs in industry. Salary will def be lower at MBB compared to the senior level at big4 so not sure if it’s worth the trade off in experience.

When you have multiple offers and all are the same monetarily how do you identify which one is a better role? A manager at cognizant and a manager at big4 are different even if their salary and title is the same. The exit opportunities from big4 is much better...how then should we compare offers?

In my late 20's, but I've lived in my current city (nonUS) my whole life. I was really looking forward to moving to NYC and landed a job there earlier this year although I'm still WFH and not in the US yet. A recruiter reached out to me for a new role but it would be in my old city. I'd be pretty fine with both roles themselves. But the NYC one would pay about 140$ TC (not sure about bonus yet, this is a guess), and the non-NYC one would be maybe $25-30 more. Is the $ worth the city sacrifice?
