Do people really ever get jobs through cold interviews from job postings? I’ve been trying it for years, done alot of third-round interviews and such, all generally positive experiences, but every job I’ve ever landed has involved a personal recommendation, warm intro, or someone I’ve worked with at a previous role or as a competitor, etc. A fair number of the jobs I’ve notice go “unfilled” with postings remaining up for months or years after. Most places draw out the process 2+ months.

3ys exp total, 1yr angular and 2yr Java. How much should I demand??

I am currently at a Saas company and earning about 2-3 my ote as I have been crushing it. I am expecting another at least 2 quarters of crushing it as well. I work for a small company in a role I kind of fell into (and I am lucky for that). My team is great, they have their issues like any team and the job is pretty flexible, but I really don’t like what I do and I don’t see a a future unless I want to grow in supply chain. I have a final interview at another company in a sales roll, not a dream job but the team is great (have a friend who used to be on this team) and it’s at a huge company with TONS of opportunities (continued in comments)
