I recently received a job offer for a Consulting position at SAS Institute but my spouse received a job in a different state. His position is less flexible in moving than mine will be. When is an appropriate time to bring up relocation/remote work and how should I approach this situation?

Started a new job last month. How do you guys stay motivated while working from home? I'm constantly getting distracted by the internet, by stuff happening at home, by the news, etc.

I had been unemployed for many months prior so I skipped the whole office-to-WFH transition.

Have you reached the point where you're satisfied with your job? I've had B4, industry accounting and wealth management jobs and there's always been something I was not satisfied with, leading me to find something else. I've been in my current role (industry) for about a year and am already bored and looking at opportunities. Is it possible to find a job that brings you satisfaction at all levels (pay, hours, the work itself, etc.), or do you have to settle at one point?

I'm unable to focus at work. A call starts and I immediately am on my phone or browsing on my laptop or play with my hair or even fold laundry - anything but pay attention...unless I have to speak at which point I talk and then back to this. How do you go about not underselling yourself on a resume/interview while also not exaggerating your accomplishments? I have a lot of team/group experience but I think it would be an exaggeration to just say for example “formulated Omni-channel marketing plan targeting gen x consumer in consideration of a buy now pay later plan”. I had a role on a team and contributed, but I have heard recruiters are off put by stating you were part of a team effort since they don’t know your contribution to it.

Finishing up my masters in Cybersecurity. Fortunate to have the opportunity to work for either a Fintech company or a Health Informatics company (both companies are leaders in their respective spaces). Which sector (Fintech vs. Health Informatics) would you advise pursuing? And why? Pay offer for both is the same.
