Anyone know anything about the agency, Good Kid? It’s linked to ComcastNBCUniversal but not sure if it’s their internal agency or an agency that would be doing work for outside clients. Seems to be led by some industry vets.
They have a LinkedIn page but haven’t been able to find anything outside of that.

I assume you work in either SEO or SEM? And you work on a Pharma account?
The Hilton account will be very different from the healthcare/pharma account you are on now.
Much more fast paced, competitive, demanding, extremely tactical and analytically focused. So basically the opposite of what you are potentially doing now.
Hence the reason the pay is much higher. Generally on travel/hospitality related accounts the hours are longer and more intense. You have to remember the travel and hospitality industry is always competitive especially in search, and has been greatly affected the past two years. But people are traveling again so brands are trying to capture the demand again. Think about how that will impact your work load
I echo the previous comment. Definitely depends on the account but I only have positive things to say about my experience within dentsu.
Second everything Carat said!
Top talent, just not enough of it. Nightmare agency in my experience but can Defs depend on the account
What position ru?
Congrats - how long have you been in your current role? How is your career path there, any possibility for promotions? And would your departure leave your current team in a tough spot? Definitely do not want to put them in a bind and burn bridges. I’ve only worked with iProspect as SEO partners and very talented but not aware of the culture.
I’ve been handling it pretty well I’d say. I definitely have support from others, but still inherit some of the responsibility and tasks of the manager role. Just annoying because when the position is filled, it still takes a few months for that person to get a grasp of the position and the account
iP and Dentsu are not much different from any other holding company. Constant restructures, bad org structure, and lack of culture. I currently report into an SVP who does not even work over one of my LOBs as an example. Also Dentsu has been really bad with pitches over the last 1-2 years.
What account? Just like any other agency, there are good roles and bad but they are mainly dependent on the account
I knew people on Hilton at the past agency and they seemed to like it a lot
I know someone who got fired from there, extremely aggressive people, poor management , the team he was on 6 left out of the 8 along with the manager. Very top heavy company.
Not a great company with bad top management. They will boast and do whatever it takes to win pitches by throwing prices and letting the internal team drown with KPIs that they agreed with the client without consulting internally if it's possible. I have first-hand experience working with top management and it cost the previous work a huge big mess and black-hole when the person took off. Also, they will just throw in higher salary to get people in and will tell you I pay you this much to do your job!
So if you want to have better sanity my suggestion is to think twice, don't just jump for the sake of the increment, there are consequences coming with it.
They have hired many non-related field people and no one guiding these poor fellas and they ended up crying during the interview for another job (one of them attended an interview in my current company). Hence we know the 'shit' they are doing back then and right now which is still the same tactic.
How much to project managers make?
Depends on where in the org you are and how stable the account pipeline is - they don't think twice about laying employees off and constant reshuffling. Most have positive attitudes and are fun to work with - great benefits - decent pay - but there is always an overriding fear of losing your job.
Take the job. Take the money. One day they will be doing poorly and simply dump you and tell you “it’s just business.”
