I assume you work in either SEO or SEM? And you work on a Pharma account?
The Hilton account will be very different from the healthcare/pharma account you are on now.
Much more fast paced, competitive, demanding, extremely tactical and analytically focused. So basically the opposite of what you are potentially doing now.
Hence the reason the pay is much higher. Generally on travel/hospitality related accounts the hours are longer and more intense. You have to remember the travel and hospitality industry is always competitive especially in search, and has been greatly affected the past two years. But people are traveling again so brands are trying to capture the demand again. Think about how that will impact your work load
I echo the previous comment. Definitely depends on the account but I only have positive things to say about my experience within dentsu.
Second everything Carat said!
Top talent, just not enough of it. Nightmare agency in my experience but can Defs depend on the account
What position ru?
Congrats - how long have you been in your current role? How is your career path there, any possibility for promotions? And would your departure leave your current team in a tough spot? Definitely do not want to put them in a bind and burn bridges. I’ve only worked with iProspect as SEO partners and very talented but not aware of the culture.
I’ve been handling it pretty well I’d say. I definitely have support from others, but still inherit some of the responsibility and tasks of the manager role. Just annoying because when the position is filled, it still takes a few months for that person to get a grasp of the position and the account
What account? Just like any other agency, there are good roles and bad but they are mainly dependent on the account
I knew people on Hilton at the past agency and they seemed to like it a lot
I know someone who got fired from there, extremely aggressive people, poor management , the team he was on 6 left out of the 8 along with the manager. Very top heavy company.
How much to project managers make?
