I recently received an offer from iProspect (part of Dentsu) I’ve heard ups and downs about this company. I currently work for a great company and not sure if I should leave. The new opportunity pays a lot more than I currently make. Does anyone have any advice about this company and whether I should take the job or not?

I assume you work in either SEO or SEM? And you work on a Pharma account?

The Hilton account will be very different from the healthcare/pharma account you are on now.

Much more fast paced, competitive, demanding, extremely tactical and analytically focused. So basically the opposite of what you are potentially doing now.

Hence the reason the pay is much higher. Generally on travel/hospitality related accounts the hours are longer and more intense. You have to remember the travel and hospitality industry is always competitive especially in search, and has been greatly affected the past two years. But people are traveling again so brands are trying to capture the demand again. Think about how that will impact your work load

I echo the previous comment. Definitely depends on the account but I only have positive things to say about my experience within dentsu.

Second everything Carat said!

Top talent, just not enough of it. Nightmare agency in my experience but can Defs depend on the account

What position ru?

Congrats - how long have you been in your current role? How is your career path there, any possibility for promotions? And would your departure leave your current team in a tough spot? Definitely do not want to put them in a bind and burn bridges. I’ve only worked with iProspect as SEO partners and very talented but not aware of the culture.

I’ve been handling it pretty well I’d say. I definitely have support from others, but still inherit some of the responsibility and tasks of the manager role. Just annoying because when the position is filled, it still takes a few months for that person to get a grasp of the position and the account

What account? Just like any other agency, there are good roles and bad but they are mainly dependent on the account

I knew people on Hilton at the past agency and they seemed to like it a lot

I know someone who got fired from there, extremely aggressive people, poor management , the team he was on 6 left out of the 8 along with the manager. Very top heavy company.

How much to project managers make?

Working in a market where there is female leadership but most of them are the racial majority with no interest in actually improving diversity. The leadership seems very focused on putting “their people” into the role, and as a minority woman, I’m seeing my team (diverse group of genders, races and nationalities) get sidelined. The racism is real and almost accepted- it’s shocking. How would you manage it? How would you fix it?

Would appreciate it if anyone from KPMG provide some background on this particular practice: Regulatory Affairs Operations/Submissions – Systems Implementation. And, how it relates to Pharmaceuticals?

Has anyone Deloitte's group legal benefit to deal with a landlord? I've got a landlord refusing to fix something he's legally required to according to DC laws. No time to handle this alone.

Y’all got work husbands/wives? If so, have they checked on you since the mandated WFH requirement?

Moving from public to a small venture capital firm that’s heavy in the tech and AI industries. Just found out they use Macbooks, not PCs 😳 I have an iPhone but have literally never works on a Mac and am nervous it’s going to inhibit my productivity. Specifically concerned with what spreadsheet software they use. Is Excel standard on Macs? HELP!!

I changed my major recently and am going to start working on my journalism degree coming spring semester. I know its early to think about but what kind of jobs/niches should I look for in the journalism/news industry if I want somewhere thats fast paced and makes good money?

I am scared. No one chooses to be attracted to the same sex, it is how your born. Is this right going to be left to the states to decide in 5 years?

Potentially interviewing for a transformation/ops role with a private company owned by a PE firm. Any potential questions I should expect during interviews or anything I should ask them/be aware of - just related to the PE ownership? TIA!

By any chance are there any Accenture referrals in the building? 🙂

Any other coaches out there? Curious to see what your state is doing? I coach basketball and we are only allowed to train outside. But other districts are using equipment and even playing in gyms!?

Hi Goolgers - I just received an offer and started my negotiation process. Before comp, my recruiter and I are negotiating on location. I’m currently located in NYC but the role is in HQ. I’m unable to move to CA due to my wife’s job, so I’m curious to know more about if you had any experiences in negotiating location or getting approved to be “remote”? Any pointers or advice would really be appreciated!

Any fish subletting in DC? My GF is moving out here mid June and needs to sublet for a month or so before her main lease starts...

Company is giving me the opportunity to partake in training for either

1. Cloud / Red Hat (Kubernetes)
2. Data Science (Python/R)

What would be the better option for a Consultant/Developer?
