I recently started a new role few months ago. Everything is going okay, but I feel seclusion within the team. It is so weird to discuss something like this with someone, be it your manager, but it looks like people/stakeholders just ignore my presence. The team mate who supports the same stakeholders, always talk in fashion- ‘I did this ’ instead of using we. Even stakeholders during discussion take my teammate views, thoughts into account, to understand bandwidth or work prioritisation (CONT..)

Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks. She’s only coming back part time. My leadership already said no to hiring another full time recruiter. Has anyone had any good experience with contract recruiters? Or any advice for a short term solution?

Scrolling through LinkedIn and literally every other post is a “We’re hiring” or some new intern thanking everyone they’ve ever met for helping them get hired.

Sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc all state that if you post your resume it increases your exposure. BUT, any courses / trainings on resumes or job findings say that resumes should be tailored to the job you’re applying for. So how are you supposed to tailor a resume when you have it posted that a recruiter / hiring manager has likely already seen?

Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere?
