Who is your target market? Based on your followers, seems to be popular amongst a younger crowd. Maybe they want more graphics? Lots of text on a platform designed for pictures might be tough to draw attention.

I do like your color scheme but it is hard to read the posts if I am scrolling on your page. Specifically I think the headline should be bigger and less noisey on the first tile. Thoughts?

like

thanks I'll look into those types of creators.

missed your followup post. yes, acknowledge that it's all pretty basic content now. wanted to appeal to a broader audience for now and then get to more advanced topics and strategies. when you say personal touch, do you mean introducing myself? or actually talking about my own finances? I've been considering the latter but have some friends following me so am unsure how to do it without coming off as a showoff

What class is your target audience?

The color scheme says "rich/wealthy" to me. It's not very relateable.

If it popped up on my feed, I’d think it was an ad from a bank or financial institution. Just seems a bit impersonal. Incorporating your own journey and goals might help make it more relatable

Offer help - yesterday I’ve received an offer from DataDog for Services Architect 3 role on their expert services team (ProServe) - pre sale solution and engagement.

Offer was as follows Base: 155k RSU: 22.5k (90k total over 4 years, 1 year cliff).

I currently make 170k base + ISO (private company so kinda hard to evaluate). I’m 4.5 YOE

I said it needs to be more in 210-220 range in order to switch. She’s going to talk to the manager on Monday and get back to me.

What do you guys think?

I’ve been listening to “millionaires unveiled” (highly recommend for FIRE content) and it seems like every other guest ends up doing real estate investing. If you do it, what books or online courses would you recommend to get started? If you have experience in real estate investing, would you ultimately recommend it?

I’d love some help thinking through this. I’m currently renting for $1600 base ($1800 total) and live in the least desirable part of town, and expect it to raise to about $2k/month. I was planning to buy my first property in the city and Airbnb part of it, but it will take me about a year to save up the cash (~$500k starting). Eventual goal is to move more rural but trying to build to FI. I found a property in my ideal dream location for $280k but it needs work, and can’t Airbnb it. Continued

Has anyone here taken up lower pay or reduced hours as they were further along in their FI journey? I’m really struggling with accepting the loss of potential earned income after prioritizing every $ for so many years

Context: 35F, 750K NW (no debt or mortgage), 200K salary, but live far below means. Want to go to 60% hours so I can enjoy life more and prioritize mental health, and eventually have kids one day

New to MBDR, topped off pretax 401k today and will get full company "match." I missed all of the market rallies due to restrictions at my old job and personal stupidity/FOMOing into crappy investments.

But I’ve moved to a new job - any advice on capital allocation for a 24 year old who’s making 250k, with 125K in NW? Obviously still in a great spot but am definitely behind some of my peers who’ve already become millionaires…

Need help from experts here. I have about $3K in traditional IRA that I contributed 5 years ago, post tax. I want to start doing backdoor Roth IRA this year. I understand I can contribute $6K into a traditional IRA and immediately move this to Roth IRA account. But I am confused about that $3K that I currently have in a traditional IRA. Can I leave that $3K alone, open a new traditional IRA account, contribute $6K and move to Roth IRA immediately? Or does that 3K have any implications for me?
