I am currently working as an consultant for kyndryl as cloud sme with 7b band on lower level 13.5 lakhs. My contract is coming to an end so I contacted my manager was offered an job at same 7b level at 17 lakhs . Should I take the offer , will I have growth in the Company? I have an another offer from hcl 18 lakhs . Kyndryl Inc.

Maybe monthly check in / every other month; one on ones to mostly hear them talk, seek out their ideas, gives you an idea of what’s going on on the ground. Makes them feel heard and part of team and also good optics overall
Management by Walking Around would be my recommendation. 1:1s with your directs and then informal interaction with the others. Unless you’re responsible for their reviews - then you need to have formal interactions.
I agree that “walking around” is a good way to interact in normal times, but we are WFH until at least 3/31.

I have no idea what is actually appropriate but I would say 1/2 as frequently as you do with the managers. So if you’re doing weekly with managers, I’d say bi-weekly with staff. The more people feel like you care about them, the more they’re willing to bust their butt for you. Face time is crucial for building that

How’s it going with just the weekly 1:1’s with the managers?
A team I worked with had a similar set up. The controller had update 1:1’s with his direct reports. But as the staff worked on projects, new meetings popped up and the staff, their manager, and controller would be in meetings together. Plenty of time to interact.
