I recently tested positive for covid and thankfully recovered. I just had another test and waiting for the results. My partner has been asking me when I can go back into the office. The truth is I’m hesitant to going back in because I likely caught the virus there and I have parents at home. But I feel some pressure to go back in. Any advice?

Dont go in. No job is worth your health. Tell him you have elderly parents to take care of.

If you already had COVID, the chance you’ll get it again is tiny.

Not really the point. In my view, the only way we go back to normal is by allowing individuals to do only what they are comfortable with. For reinfections, there are conflicting reports and studies, and I would never make someone go into the office if they didn't feel safe.

That's despite the fact that I've been in the office pretty much every day for the past 4 months.

Question for all of those caring for COVID patients. My hospital has started considering positive patients as “negative” after 21 days of hospitalization regardless of how they test. Removing isolation completely. I’m extremely uncomfortable with this, is this the norm now??

Is it normal for the doctor’s office to not tell you how much your visit is before hand?

For context, I saw one derm for a mole and he referred me to a different derm. This visit already cost $350 with insurance. Now I’m scheduling first a consultation with derm 2 and his office is not giving me a quote for the consultation. I’m worried that this consultation plus the removal will run into thousands of dollars.

Did anyone who got Moderna vaccine get a flare up of seborrheic dermatitis?

I got my first flare up of this autoimmune condition 5 days after my first Moderna dose and it’s only gotten worse since (I have been doing treatment). I was doing some research online how covid patients in hospitals got the condition so I wasn’t sure if it would be related to the 2 doses of Moderna vaccine. Just thought I would ask if it happened to anyone else.

Maybe it was just a coincidence too

My husband grew up eating total crap at home his entire life. He has started to put on weight regardless of working out. He has no interest in stopping to eat pizza, mac and cheese, sloppy joes and cereal everyday of his life, no vegetables at all. A fruit is a banana to him, maybe every couple of days. I worry about having children with someone so unhealthy. To him, it's normal, and his dad was the same. What can I do to persuade him to change?

I was in a very bad shape last year (major anxiety episodes, OCD flares, panic attacks) and now I'm MUCH better. I feel like one thing that helped through it was for the first time in my life opening myself to experience my spiritual side (not talking religion here).

I feel like now that i feel better overall, I'm disregarding that part of me but wishing i still had that drive to feed my spiritual self. Any ideas on how to bring it back to my life in a way that doesn't really feel forced?
