Exactly happened to me when I left my job in 2019. My boss was right, is was not long term but the role opened my mind to new things and people and after 18months I moved into something even better. Broaden your horizons and don't wait for someone else's approval. Learn to trust your gut!

It did happen to me...when I quit, they basically implied I'd boomerang back. Tbh, they were right in some ways...it wasn't the right place for me culture-wise BUT I also knew that if I had stayed with my old job, I would've been underpaid and overworked. I didn't stay long at my new role bc it actually opened up a lot of other opportunities for me.
