Hi everyone, I'm comparing two offers from Accenture and Cognizant. Could you help me figure out some of these questions: 1. At 5 YOE, what kind of package can I expect? Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?

Out of ignorance, are high levels of physical activity correlated to susceptibility for blood clots?

You'll probably be fine
But you could get up from your seat a couple times during your flights if it's more of an anxiety thing
My buddy swears by compression socks which help with circulation
Get drunk. Booze thins the blood and can help prevent clotting.
There are little circulation exercises like rolling feet etc. Google it or read the flight magazine.
DVT is real
In the same situation actually hah.. do you have any background on why this is a concern? Thanks!
CEP Compression socks for the runner. Does wonders if you wear them on long flights 👌
Stretch padwan stretch
Regarding K1s comment, I've found the foam rolling helps with circulation a lot. I used to lose feeling in my arms (in certain positions) after a lot of hiit cardio and foam rolling helped quell that
I ended up with blood clots from how often I fly back and forth to uk/India/cross country. I would have severe leg pain even after the ER stint, compression socks are a lifesaver (literally). Deloitte covers them under well being if you buy them at CVS/Walgreens.
Asprin if you are that worried.
I sleep in compression socks sometimes. You can fly in them
Client told me he was worried about it after he had to travel international following a marathon. It was when I was local so didn't really think twice about it until now.
Over hydrate, compression socks, aspirin in moderation
I actually hadn't though higher exercise levels would increase deep vein thrombosis risks. If you think you're at higher risk, you must talk to your doctor about it rather than rely on advice here. But don't just sit the whole flight. This is one reason I prefer aisle seats on longer flights, especially on eastbound red eyes as I don't have to climb over folks to get up. And the last time I flew HKG-ORD - about 14 hours - I got up four times even though I had a business class lie flat seat.

Never heard of these things before. How do I find out more
You don't need to carry a big ass foam roller. Just get a lacrosse ball it works just as well
