I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

You are making over $300k a year stress free and have work life balance. Sounds to me you should just continue being thankful and do what you do
Build really strong relationships with my clients and keep an open door policy, I don’t schedule annual reviews, but just look at my book and touch base with those who I feel I haven’t spoken with in some time based on how I feel the relationship is. I have no process really after they become clients, but have a pretty good onboarding process... well I think. Point of all this chatter. Am I doing what I should be? I feel like I should have a better process? But I really don’t like being so structured?! Does anyone run a business like this? Does anyone just feel like this job comes natural and well easy, or not easy, but not hard is probably a better word. I just give God all the glory and thank him for my success. I try and run my practice like a doctor in regards to no appreciation events, no gifts, no client events. I don’t k ow if it’s the right way, but it seems to work. Any input would help. Some say I need a coach, but I don’t really want one... thanks for reading yal
Supernova advisor would be good to read/listen to
Not a small income!!! Congrats on your success !!!
Also, I feel I have a lot of time to do other things, like spend time with my family and other interests.
You wrote exactly what I do. It is like you pulled this out of my head. My assets and income aren't near yours at all, but I grow little by little. Hoping for 20% this year between new money and the market. Great job, and glad to see others work as I do. I have q nice work and life balance and am happy, though more income is needed. Well done sir or ma'am.
It is good to hear that you both have success and life work balance. It seems that everyone is stressed and working 24/7 trying to grind it out. There is hope. Love to find out more about how you do it.
Yes work life balance is key! I don’t stress about the business one bit, it always takes care of itself. If you are upfront with your clients, explain how you do business and just treat everyone with respect, return phone calls promptly and just be yourself, your clients will see that you are sincere and genuine. I am in the southeast where we say yes mam and yes sir, drink sweet tea, and most folk go to church on Sunday.
Sounds like good rules to live by.
Sounds like a good set up. But I will say that I transfer assets over all the time of HNW clients who say they have not heard from their advisor in a long time and appreciate that I have a high touch practice. But I don’t have anywhere near your assets. If it works for your clients then great. Sounds like your client acquisition strategy is very effective. I would definitely look at a client retention process so you don’t lose all the work you put into getting them.
I agree completely
Sounds like an ideal setup. Who are these clients and how did you get them?
I meet a lot of people when I’m out and about. Starting to get CPA referrals and client referrals now.
I’ve been working on 1 CPA office, 2 CPAs for 2 years now, have sent them over 15 referrals and now they are sending them to me, took time yes, I let them know what I was going to do and told them I was only going to refer to them and hoped over time after they saw me only sending them referrals they would start sending them to me, a forced mutual relationship I call it, but it’s finally starting to work. Also, I really wanted to align myself with this group because I liked the way they did business and I liked them personally.
Btw, where are you located?
NYC
I’d love to have that “small” practice. Sounds like you’re living the life we all wish we were.
Belonging to a community is important, I think it is key to success and longevity.
