Happy to have just received my promotion to senior manager after a very challenging year, backed by an even more challenging year prior. I've got my own beliefs what a senior manager does, or should do. I'm keen to hear transition challenges others have gone through when becoming a senior manager.
Can someone help me to understand the bandings and promotion cycles in kyndryl , and what is band 5 Kyndryl
This will be my first year end with D (just a SA). Any rumblings of what the expected raise range will be?
I’ve been an atty for 5 years at a small firm where I started their PI with exp. from the firm I clerked for. Outside of books and seminars, I have no guidance or mentor. Despite this I’ve been somewhat successful ($1-3 Mil/year) but I never stop working. Additionally, the $70K I’ve been paid for the last 3 years has me bitter and burning out. I asked for a raise but was turned down. I feel like less of an investment and more of a cash cow. Am I asking too much? Any advice?
I am in PDM Specialist/ senior consultant 1 &2. This is my promotion year. How do i conform the next title is PDM specialist 2 or the PDM manager?
Any experienced senior managers that have moved between Big 4 firms? Can you speak towards your experience, any struggles, and opportunities in terms of partner promotion? Frankly, EY path to partner seems to be too clouded (long pipeline, no clear direction/path, uncertainty on promotion cycles, etc.) at the moment and I would like to visit all options. Appreciate the input.
Our CSM department is going through a major restructure right now. There has been a huge amount of turn over since the beginning of the year. Our managers have not given us any insight to what the new restructure will look like, they have also pushed out our annual raise conversations until the end of April. A lot of CSMs are leaving the company and it has me thinking maybe I should entertain other opportunities elsewhere as well. Has anyone else had an experience like this?
Is asking for a raise at a company I’ve been at for 6 months to soon? I believe the work I’ve been doing is worth more than what I’m making now
Been a customer success manager at a tech org for about a year and was just given a promotion that’s $21k lower than what we’re hiring new folks (albeit with 2 years of experience) for. Looking for resources for the market value of a CSM with one year of experience and any tips to negotiate? Definitely feeling defeated.
EDIT: industry- Automation, Location: Southern Ontario, Canada Hello, I’m currently a Project Coordinator, but I have been acting as Project Manager across various projects now. My supervisor has stated after a month period they will look at a promotion for me- I have passed that 3 month mark and think I am ready. What is an acceptable salary raise to ask for? I’m thinking g of asking for 20k higher than my current salary(60k), is that outlandish? Thanks
This week my PERM got filed. I am in this promotion year and also getting market adjustment. Will this impact the GC process? Anyone gone through this issue ?
Would it be in bad taste if I were to bring up my teammate’s salary when trying to negotiate a salary raise? He has a similar title as me, but my manager doesn’t know his salary. Would it be a bad move if I told him that I want the same pay as my teammate?
Planning on secondment to Sydney at SC level. What are my chances of promotion to M in 2 years? Coming in with 5 years experience and offered 108k. Is this good in terms of the banding?

NYS I work for NYS, I have been able to get interviews for the next step up position, I'm currently an 18, I would like to move to a 23. What are good interview strategies to use when looking for a promotion.
I'm in a pickle about my salary- I had 1.5 years experience before starting my current role 2.5 years ago. The company had no marketing before me & I built everything from the ground up. My responsibilities have grown tremendously, including sales enablement, Rev Ops, customer success, product development & more. I had a conversation last August about my salary & was promised a raise & promotion, but it hasn't happened. Sales hasn't closed the revenue we need, but I've also never had a raise.
Hallo 🐠 got a promotion and transfer opportunity to move to Amsterdam from the US (I’m in the industry). Looking for inputs on best neighborhoods to rent a place! I’m moving with my fiancé and we are in our late 20s
I remember being at PwC, I was a high performer. Asked my relationship partner to meet to discuss a path to early promotion. His/Her response was "why does everyone want an early promotion around here". The advice I got was to network with partners...Thanks for the help.

Currently a 1.5 year tenure Consultant in Deloitte GPS RFA. Just received an offer from Guidehouse for $82K, a $16K salary boost from what I make currently. I am not up for a promotion to SC at this point. I've also heard Deloitte benefits are better, but would anyone have opinions on whether I should take the job?
