My notice period in Cognizant is 90days and joining date for new company is 1 month prior to my notice period.
Is there any option to reduce my notice period?
Or it is possible to ask my new employer to extend my joining date for another 1month.

I’m new to a firm with a quasi-free market system for associate work. I’m used to more of a military type hierarchy where I have to do what I’m assigned—simple. Now I get asked by multiple partners to do work and I have a dreadful habit of trying to do it all, and then doing something not well. I’m not sure why I do this.
