I see a lot of remote jobs in sales. Question is if it doesn’t matter where you live how do you get the relationship needed to close deals just talking on the phone or zoom?

Flats in bangalore are so expensive.
With the salary we get it is not possible to buy house unless you are willing to pay emi for 25-30 years.
Under this scenario companies should really allow us wfh in remote cheap locations or triple our salary along with multiple travel allowances

Is Infosys giving permanent wfh for new joiners?
If yes, will they mention it in the offer letter?
Infosys office is not present in Kolkata and I don't want to relocate as I need to take care of my old parents and in-laws.

Went on a final interview today and the interviewer yawned through my presentation, was so BRUTAL with feedback, and was just super low-energy. This dude picked apart my entire presentation and frowned through all of it. Up until this point, everyone that I interviewed with said the presentation was great, but some things that need improvement. I just don’t understand how it’s normal that it’s expected that you make presentations and work for free— just to have someone take a huge shit on you.

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.

I have been working as a PreSales SA for 4 years for a tech giant. It has been a while that I feel like I am not growing at my job which is impacting my productivity. How should I address this to reach a conclusion as to what I should do next? Maybe find motivation or look for an exit strategy?

Inflation costs are killing my pipeline. Many of my deals are scaling back greatly because of their rising operating costs.

How do we overcome the inflation objection? I mean obviously the answer is to show how much value we offer, but how do we do that when all of the companies we work with barely have enough funding?

They need our services, which is at least some job security, but their scale back is greatly affecting our projections and quota attainment.

Looking to get back into SaaS sales after a few year hiatus. Any tips or recommendations to ramp myself back into SaaS sales? Any podcast or books, etc?
