Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead. Does this happen? Or are they just being nice? What’s the probability that they’ll match me to another role?

But upon searching on the internet I couldn't find any jobs that require CDL, mostly starting with Associate Cloud. Hi all - I’m an IT project manager here in the investment and asset management space in Toronto. I am looking at recent job postings for Google Product managers and not sure how I can better align myself. I have experience implementing and supporting SaaS ERP solutions (Yardi, Workday), business systems analysis and product road mapping. I’m an MIS grad and also hold my PMP, DASM and CSM. I’ve tried for years at the big 4, but product managers are a hot field right now. Any advice on pivoting?

I had applied for TAM in Google Cloud and got interviewed for the same. However, I do see the position now open in my preferred location as well. Should I apply for that location or if I clear my set of interviews then can I ask the recruiter to get me matched to my preferred location? How does this kind of situation work usually?
