I shopped at LV when I was in Spain last month but didn’t have my passport with me so I went back a couple of days later for my tax refund. That was on 4/14 but I still haven’t received it in my bank. Is it normal for it to take this long?

Gotcha, thank you!

Hey OP, how did you claim your tax refund? Was it at the local airport or wherever you were traveling?

I just went to LV and they processed it for me. Said I didn’t have to do anything else unless I wanted my refund to hit faster

Hello Fb! I'm 30 yrs old. I'm trying to figure out and plan my life to set myself up for success in the future. I wish I had known things like enrolling in a high deductible health plan at 24 when I started work so that I could enroll in a HSA for the triple tax savings or the importance of maxing out a Roth IRA or maxing out a 401K and not just to the employer match. What are some things you wish you had known earlier or by age 30? In some ways, I feel like I'm late in the game. See more 👇🏻

Can someone please explain what type of life insurance I should be purchasing? I’m setting up life insurance trusts for my wife and me and now need to purchase the actual policies. Term life, whole life, universal, etc. Why isn’t this shit taught in like high school? Something so important shouldn’t be complicated to get right!

Trying to get the formal approval from my company before officially signing up, advice welcome!

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)

Trying to figure out which is better (long term) to do between the following options
1.) Max out Traditional 401k + do backdoor Roth versus 2.) Contributing to and maxing out Roth 401k (if employer plan allows)… not sure if from a tax and long term growth perspective, one of these options makes more sense to do (or is there another option to consider for maximizing retirement contributions ?)

Is it legal to have old applications for applicants/new hires to put in their employee files? The way our ATS works is that a candidate fills out the employment app once and applies to numerous positions in the future. They are able to update but The problem is not all applicants update their application all the time so we end up with applications from 2019-2021 because we don’t have time to chase every person to update their application, but we do have any updated resume on file.
