I am 8 weeks pregnant. Just went in for my lab results and my progesterone is super low. This is a significant signal that the pregnancy is ectopic or otherwise non viable. We're going in for an ultrasound early next week to find out more.

Anyone else experience this? Would appreciate hearing from others who have been through a similar experience, especially getting some sense of whether there is hope for a viable pregnancy, and if it isn't, what aftereffects I might expect. 🙏

Anyone has extreme caffeine sensitivity here? I stopped drinking coffee since September because Everytime I would drink coffee, I would get really anxious and jittery a few hours after. Today, I was feeling sick so decided to make chai for myself. Black tea does have some amount of caffeine so I got very jittery 2-3 hours after consuming it. It is killing me and I guess I should give up on occasional chais too 😔

Can't help but feel like I'm in a rut. I'm 23 and realized I still haven't accomplished goals that I set when I was 20. I waste copious amounts of time on Netflix. I keep losing weight only to gain it back. I bought a standing desk and am still sitting on my bed to work. I am so sick of hearing about well-being and the “tips” we should adopt in trying to make a difference. Blocking out time in my diary doesn’t do anything aside from making my days longer. It’s about time management assess workload (client and non client) and actively resolve that as the FIRST step to helping most of our wellbeing. Rant, sorry.

Parenting question..my kid loves golf and swings his club daily after school. When his friend comes over, the friend tends to hit our house with golf balls. After being reprimanded a couple of times, the friend hit the house again and dented siding (again). I texted the mom asking to tell her kid not to hit golf balls at my house. For moms who have delivered before, I am terrified of the delivery. That day haunts me. I’m a first time pregnant mom, and my own mother lost her first child in child birth, so I’ve inherited a lot of trauma about child birth. How bad is it, really? How scary? Any words of encouragement and honestly telling me what to expect (don’t sugar coat) I would appreciate. I am so scared.

To push off or not? TTC for 3 years, 1 year with RET. Just had a failed IVF transfer and my mental health and spouses mental health are in tough spot. His parents are “temporarily” living with us and MIL has severe Alzheimer’s. All of this is straining our marriage badly. 26.5 weeks pregnant and feeling this lower abdominal pain (under my belly button). It comes and goes. It’s coming in waves and goes away but I can feel it’s there waiting to flash another wave, if that makes sense. I read online that women go through Braxton Hicks contractions. Is that how they feel like? Baby moving as usual so I know (guess) is fine.

30 weeks. Appetite is alright during breakfast and lunch, but it really drops starting at around 4pm. No appetite for dinner at all. Only wanna eat fruits. Anyone in the similar situation?

I know everyone is different, how long did it take you to fall pregnant with your first? We have just started trying but I’m already stressed at the possibility of hiding a pregnancy at friends and family gatherings, taking an international trip in April, and the ‘perfect’ time to be pregnant/due (I know there’s no perfect time!). I feel like a crazy person!

Can we talk pregnancy weight gain? I am 28 weeks with my first (age 27) and have gained 32 lbs, and I’m on track to gain 60. I’ve always been petite, and am not sure how I can prevent gaining the full 60 because I am eating very healthy. Any tips to manage now or lose it after? I’ve heard breastfeeding helps and I’ve also heard that is a myth.
