So you like agitprop people who make a strawman argument about what others believe and then “own it,” and the recommendation he gave you featured content you didn’t like (which irritated you) which is why he recommended it to you

If you read the opinion or holding of Roe, you’ll see that the decision hinges on the right to privacy Griswold v Connecticut established in 1965 being applied to the states through the 14th Amendment. Shapiro seems to oppose both from the article. Which dissenting opinion are you talking about? Did you watch Philosophy Tube’s dissenting opinion I linked?

Love Shapiro- he’s exactly why I no longer subscribe to identity politics, and look at the platform they’re standing on.

I enjoy watching his debates as well.

... I also don't hear the people on pod save America recommend that I listen to other shows with differing views to make sure I am getting the full spectrum of facts. I personally watched the vice presidential debate live, and felt that Shapiro's show gave more clips and objectionable analysis of how each candidate did, while pod save America speaks in high-level generalities and doesn't really cite clips or live quotes to back up their positions

I am a liberal but also believe in moderate views and I would personally love to listen to more sane conservatives (ie the republican classics like John McCain or Mitt Romney). I do not like pod saves america, I find them very whiny and not objective. My favorite on the left is bill Maher and his show where he does try to have reasonable people from both sides.

Careful. The liberal arts grads of fishbowl can’t stand Shapiro and they’ll bomb out your inbox if they get ahold of this thread. Oh and for an honest liberal take on culture matters I like Jimmy Dore. Not as much source-citing as someone like Shapiro, but very good at defending a point with concrete logic.
