My parents have both received the first vaccine shot, and ideally I will have too before I go. Any advice to get the vaccine (at least shot 1)? I am just so sad. I joined a major consulting company in January under its “lesser” affiliate and part of the deal is that there is no “bench” if you’re not staffed then you’re out of a job immediately. My project lead was an MD and all year she stringed me along that she was going to bring me over to the parent company and now there’s a hiring freeze and even though I’ve had nothing but good feedback on my project by the end of the year I’ll be out of a job. Bench is so deep that anytime
