For those of you who build websites, how do you display your built sites on your portfolio site? Do you have a page where you mock up the site or do you do a direct link? I currently have both. I’m just trying to figure out the best way for me. Here is my site for reference. The links for the sites are in the menu and below in the gallery. Sarahbellestudios.com

The place I worked got really toxic and I was working stupid hours hence I left where I worked. I made the mistake in rushing to find a new job becuase I just wanted out. My boss was asking me to run their biggest clients case, so I'd draft all the letters to HMRC, prepare everything for Tribunal, speak to the clients etc bearing in mind there was 20+ open enquiries in this case. Obviously he overlooked it all but the pressure was crazy considering I just left uni. It wasn't appreciated too so I decided enough is enough
Hi! I’m a director specialising in transfer pricing investigations—I work a lot with our CT investigations team, and have handled COP 8 and COP 9 cases.
If you aren’t happy doing compliance then you could absolutely switch back to investigations. It’s a hot field and every UK firm is on the lookout for people who have done that kind of work. Having the CTA will be helpful.
Best of luck!
Not necessarily, but it tends to be chunky—can’t necessarily predict when a dispute will land or ratchet up, but deadlines for responses to information requests can mean that the work is intense at times.
As I was saying, i don't feel as though im pushing myself even though I am working really well and progressing. Although the work life balance is the same I really miss the investigations work, maybe because I did different things every day.
My plan is to complete my CTA exams and then go back to investigations. Am i right in doing this?

When you only complete 80% of a project, you usually aren’t rewarded. Is this what they mean when they say “oh well, close enough for Government work!” 😄
