Do what you were hired to do
Very helpful, thank you
Approach your new job with an open mind, be willing to learn new things, and get to know your colleagues and leadership.
You’ve got this 💪🏼.

Agree with all of the above. The First 90 Days is a great read when starting a new job: https://www.amazon.com/First-90-Days-Strategies-Expanded/dp/1422188612
This is definitely a good resource
Two things I've found useful:
First, I am terrible with names, so either find a company resource that has pictures of people and their names, or start a personal document with the same info - I will often add a few notes about the person to the same document. This way, if I need to go and talk to Fred, I can quickly refresh my memory about who Fred is, what he looks like, what I know about him.
Second - and I'm more senior so this may not apply as much: first day is all about on-boarding and nothing else; first week is getting comfortable, setting up my workspace, finding my way around, starting to get to know people; first month is learning about the environment that I will be managing, maybe fixing some things but definitely not changing anything big.
Take notes and ask questions when you don’t understand something.
Don’t expect too much of yourself at first. It could be a few months before you’re able to consistently contribute. Be patient!
You will do great. Soak in everything you can and ask lots of questions. You have got this.
