I start full-time work in Summer or Fall 2022 but graduate in December. Should I try to find a spring internship? It doesn’t look like many companies are still hiring.

Hi there. a bit of a vent so if no one reads to the end, that’s aok. But I first interviewed for a general finance role for a startup about a month ago with the CEO. I’m early in my career and he knew I didn’t have a ton of experience but I was excited/willing to learn. Since then, I’ve had conversations with 7 others for this company of <50 and even used some PTO to visit their office. I’m a ‘great fit’ but just got rejected for a lack of experience; am I missing something?

London is a world class metropolitan city and so is the cost of livi.
But then why don't MAANG or other big techs pay as high for software managers and other leadership roles as they do in the USA, particularly California, Washington, New York. In fact for the same role, $ salaries are at least 3X higher to their counterparts roles here in London.
Definitely, London isn't 3X cheaper them.
Is it that companies don't want that high here or there isn't enough competition or something else?

Just accepted an IR analyst role at a PE RE shop. Planning on staying for at least 4 years as growth progression seems great. Curious to know what people tend to exit to after IR? Jeez our society is so crazy already thinking about the next step 😂
