I started a contract position that will last at least 3 years from what I’ve been told. You can also apply for full time as new opportunities arise. I’m sort of afraid of being in a vulnerable position during such tough economic times. Should I stay with company or look for another position after 6 month mark?

I’ve worked hard to get where I am in my career but must say that managing 6 people on top of a very demanding schedule and workload has been absolutely overwhelming. I know it’s a rite of passage to know how to manage teams but I’m not enjoying this at all. Would rather just manage other team members through influence. Infact I’m considering a setup like this for my next role. Anyone else in the same boat?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

First APM gig here in Government but department lacks PM fundamentals and it’s a joke. 2 PMs jumped ship in their first 6 months. Would you recommend staying 2 years to then try to land a PM role or move now for APM?
