Don’t feel bad for setting boundaries! My husband was the same way, the first year was tough for him (he is in a totally different field), but he is used to it now and understands that it’s just part of the job.
However, I do try to create boundaries and have others respect my schedule. Not only for my marriage, but for my sanity! If you let it.. you’ll be working 24-7
Absolutely want to echo PwC2 above’s comment. My relationship went through the same- my s/o also worked in public but chose to go industry before I did. Set boundaries and continuously let your team know what’s important to you.
It’s important to set boundaries at work but it’s also important to have a significant other that supports your career goals and the commitment required to achieve those goals. Sometimes it’s okay to be a little selfish.
Ey1- by just working long hours and not asking why or if there's flexibility, people enable these situations to continue. If no one speaks up and the work gets done on time, what incentive does the company have to address their concerns?
Set boundaries early. But be flexible when there’s a deadline. I think the challenge is that, right now, it seems like there is always a deadline. No meetings after 6pm. No Sundays, ever. No one is productive without downtime. And your relationship deserves it.
You shouldn't be working weekends outside busy season. What LOS is this?

Never feel bad about setting boundaries
Added note: ew to the late meetings. This whole situation seems stinky on your team's end. Have you tried talking to your pm or manager on the engagements you're on? No way is everyone on your team OK with this.
My s/o gets upset when log off late because my team loves to schedule late meetings
What year are you?
Think of your relationship first. The firm won’t care if you lose your partner.
