Yes me - actually experiencing decline in motivation after taking the meds for a while. On a med holiday right now and regularly try to avoid them on weekends and lighter weekdays in order to decrease dependency

You should also check your dosage. Too high can lead to a stoned feeling.
My main problem is initiation (and then also sustained focus on really boring things). My dose is pretty low, just enough to get me over the initiation hump. So I don't feel as much impact on my hyper-focus.

The googles 😄. I was in the support groups offered by Don Baker in Seattle (he's wonderful!). I think he also offers them online, but I only took the in-person ones.
Also - I think this ADHD symptom is “hyper focus” and hypothesize since adderall tries to even our focus this fun symptom goes away 😔. On the bright side, I have a much more regular sleep schedule with my meds.
What kind of meds?
The buzzing high is meant to be incredibly temporary. I remember this feeling from six years ago, when I first got on stims.
I believe people chasing this high is why some abuse the meds.
Now, to answer your question, this high is NOT supposed to last. The medication still works!
If you feel otherwise, It's possible you might have built up tolerance and need a slightly higher dose (or a break), but it's unlikely you'll feel that buzz ever again..
I took a drug holiday for months and after restarting, it never felt like the very first time. Which is fine.

Not about the high.... about the motivation and unbelievable focus when I would have spurts of focus. Unfortunately although medication has improved my life and functioning significantly I really miss that buzzing high of passion from when I was unmedicated.
