Cons: True mentors are hard to come by, I wouldn’t look that gift horse in the mouth. (Also, do you really want to move to a hot spot right now?) Pros: You’re young, and moving / changing will never be easier than it is now, and with everyone working remotely you can take your time vs rushing a physical move. My advice is to keep your eyes open. If the job is *exactly* aligned with what you want to grow into, go for it. If not, then take the time to learn from this manager and grow safely where you are.

Question about Covid screenings. About to do a shoot. They’re doing a rapid antibody blood test that you have to pass before you’re let on set. But I thought that these only detect covid 1-2 weeks after infection at the earliest and aren’t useful for screening. Any experience/thoughts?

Anyone who had COVID or pretty sure they had COVID, have you noticed any strange symptoms long after the initial sickness? I exhibited all symptoms in late March for ~10 days and recovered. Since then, I’ve had a few weird 1 day fevers and occasional stomach issues, latest in August. Wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences.

Does the amount of "Breakthrough Cases" rising among those fully vaccinated make anyone... wonder? Now there's a "Delta+" variant? Now they are saying "No vaccine is 100% effective so this is to be expected"? As if we're just suppose to shrug our shoulders after they have been pressuring everyone to get the vaccine? I'm fully vaxed but I can't help but wonder... this is what the Anti-Vaxers have been warning and saying the whole time and it's making me second guess which side I'm on...
