I started this year eating clean and gyming 3-4 times a week. And now I'm back to binge eating with no excersise. How do you guys stay healthy & motivated?

Get it done while everyone else is asleep...aka get to the gym at 5 or 6 am and have your time to yourself before anyone else is up. That way u don’t neglect the family time and u get your time as well

I’m the guy the knows I should go but actually chooses not too. I understand the implications and know I should do it. But I believe, as of now, I choose to there for my kids and sacrifice some things in order to do it.

I do what I can. I fast from 8pm to 10am everyday and do 100 sit-ups and 100 pushups everyday as part of morning routine at 430am.

In the last 2 years I lost 55 pounds and after meeting a lot of people on the same path I learned the best way to be healthy is to start small. Pick one unhealthy habit to give up and add just one. Eventually you will see results and want to do more. Another tip, don’t focus on the weight, focus on the process and he habit

I too am a family man who puts my family first.

But, now, at 45, had a blood pressure so high that I had to be hospitalized and had a blood clot. Could have stroke out, had a PE, or a heart attack.

Any of those things would have meant either no more Dad, or a greatly diminished Dad.

So, prioritizing your health IS prioritizing your wife and kids.

And I’m a (I thought) fit 6 foot 170 lb guy. Turns out I wasn’t. Am not. Must exercise. For so many reasons.

Do your best to reduce your sugar in take.I know it is hard to stay on a diet long term. Reward ur self with a cheat day. Try intermittent fasting , I do 16-8 method.

I’ve lost 14 pounds in 6 weeks, most in the last 3, by literally shutting my mouth. I’m eating less than half of what I used to, and making smarter food choices. And trying to move a little more. It all feels GOOD!! Get back at it - we are all works in process

I compete in bodybuilding contest. From vast experience, like this career, you have to give yourself end goals. Find something you want todo physically and put a date you are going to do it. Run a marathon, iron man, climb a mountain, something. Without an end goal in mind, you just will keep saying you will start tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes

Everyone is different and has different needs with different flexibility. Find someone you trust that knows about fitness, or get a personal trainer, that will help you develop a plan. Always remember that the most important part is sustainability. Anyone can do a new regimen for a couple weeks, but it’s turning it into a routine that’s important.

I use to save my workouts till after the market closed. I now go to the gym at noon to replace my lunch. But guess what? I have met new prospects and have expanded my network by changing my routine. If you are sitting in your office you are not in front of people making new relationships.

Great question... I’d love to be able to leave the office and go to the gym for 2 hours everyday. But with a family it’s too hard.

Is there any sleep aids folks suggest that actually help?! I've tried melatonin, magnesium, even zzquil. None of them help.
Ambien has helped but trying to get off of it.
Unisom helps but not strong enough. I'm really really struggling with sleep here

I feel like I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown and yet I'm terrified about taking the time I need for my mental health. The fear of potentially losing my job (and my income) for taking extended time off to take care of myself creates a vicious cycle of fear, paranoia, and anxiety.

I have tried to pinpoint what I am feeling or not feeling at work. I have come to think that the JOY is somewhat lacking with everything that is going on. I still love my job and the interactions with the students, but all the sickness, fear, and death that has happened over the past 2 years has taken a toll.

What’re the thoughts on Apple Watch Ultra? I dive occasionally and it seems fairly interesting that it runs the Bühlmann decompression algorithm for a dive watch. Seems alright for recreational diving although it’s nearly the same price as Shearwater and they’re much more capable.

I know some of my friends are doing EB3 visa (unskilled workers) and they already got GC after 1.5 years. I was really surprise that it takes unskilled workers route much shorter time. So what is preventing ppl from biting the bullet for a year working on farms or fast food chains and gets GC quickly? I’m genuinely curious.
