Had both sets of parents visit us after Covid break (3 years) for 8 weeks each (and almost back to back). Really had a good time with them but really want to get back to our own life of travel and activities. Our romantic / sex life in particular took a real beating and can’t wait to get that started again. More of a confession than anything else I guess but definitely looking forward to this weekend
I’m 25 years old and started my career as a social media coordinator in travel, then for I can’t believe it’s not butter. Now I’m a marketing associate at a start up but a few friends who have seen my work said I should be in copywriting - yes I’m the friend who everyone goes to for captions as well. I have a background in advertising, with a niche in social.
Is a shift to copywriting doable… and how so? Online classes? A portfolio for sure. But what examples should I put other than social?

If money was no object, what would you be doing instead of advertising? I think I’d either want to be either a travel writer or an art historian.

Wageworks Commuter card question - Do we have any option to transfer balance from the commuter card to bank? With no transit travel in last 3 months and maybe next 3-4 months more, not sure if I would be able to use the balance before it expires.
I was offered a role called "project delivery specialist" at Deloitte. I tried asking the recruiter if this was the same as a senior consultant , she did not really have an answer for that. The recuiter did mention that your role will be remote with occasional travel .
I'm a lil confused , what is the expectation in terms of travel ? Can it change in the future? What happens if the project ends ? Is there a bench policy? And am I equivalent to a consultant or a senior consultant?

Any women have a “when you know, you know” story about a relationship? Feeling a little bit of that myself, but then second guessing it.
Can we just suspend the 8th amendment for coward ass mass shooters? Could go for some medieval punishment for this 🤡 in Boulder (and Atlanta, and others, unfortunately).
Forgive me if there’s a Deloitte only bowl I’m not in yet, but can someone give me insight into the on-boarding process? Do they expect to on-board remotely (later in the summer)? Also what PTO days are given for Labor Day? TIA!
Made a fireable mistake (timesheet not adding up) at work along with a SERIES of lesser mistakes (but mistakes never the less). Should I just quit? I feel so stupid/slow/inadequate/scared every day.
Any firm in the Bay Area that actually expects ~2000 hours from M&A associates. I’m a mid level and have averaged 293 hours a month for the last 7 months and just can’t do it anymore. I feel like 2000 would feel like a cake walk after this year from hell.

This housing market is not sustainable. It can't be. 475k townhome with 10% down payment at 2.8% was $2560 all in(Mortgage, PMI, Taxes, Insurance). With the interest rate hikes, a buyer would now pay $3360.
Sure people have money and will still pay $3360 but for the majority of the population, things cannot continue like this.
It might not be 2008 but there is a bubble somewhere in this economy that’s going to drive prices back down
