Blackrock recruitment process has me nervous about the company itself. Lack of timely responses and hardly any information on who to contact. I am afraid of unreliability. What if I accept the offer and put in my two weeks and then they rescind the offer? Has this happened to anyone? #blackrock

I have worked with Forbes top companies, for-profits, non-profits, & startups. I consider myself a solver of complex & complicated problems requiring mixed method research & novel solutions. This has led to issues in self-referencing title. I’ve been project manager, data engineer, developer, modeler, analysts, principle DB developer, etc. Most of my w2 work has been from offers of 1099 clients so I am usually asked to define my own title. Any T-shaped data people who run into this?

Im 35. Considering to start investing in Real Estate this year. Looking to buy 1 property to start generating cash flow, but most importantly, long term equity. No plans to sell. Condo or Single family residence. Considering booming areas like Austin, Vegas or somewhere with potential to grow. Will need local help, since I don’t live there (realtor + property manager). Already have 20% down, but considering putting less. All closing fees are also covered. Is this a good idea or should just wait?

Hi all! I recently accepted a remote/hybrid RN position to try something new. Majority of my experience is at bedside. The pay is less than bedside (as a traveler), but more than a staff nurse. Are there any RN’s that left bedside for a remote position that can give advice on the work/life balance? What pros and cons do you encounter?

Anyone used I-75 by Darius for FAR and passed?

Anyone taken REG this Q yet and can give insight on what areas were heavily tested on for you? It's my last exam and I'm on a marathon to pass it before FAR expires. First time I took it last November resulted in me getting a 74 and losing all motivation to study after being so close to finishing, so I honestly haven't touched Becker in almost a year and don't even remember which areas are the big ticket ones to focus on. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Studying for FAR got like 2 more weeks. I find the SIMS to be very time consuming to re-do them, also I am not sure if I am very comfortable with those. Given this, should I keep hammering MCQs or spend time on SIMS? Confused but also don’t want to fail..please help!!!

Took audit last week. I’ve passed everything else. Really hope I pass audit so I can be done. I’m just going to continue studying until I get that passing score God willing. It’s a weird feeling to think I may be done with this exam. Wish me well guys

REG: I thought distributions in excess of capital invested (aka basis) would just be a capital gain. Could someone explain this?
