I suspect The&Partnership is a shell corporation. They claim to have 1500 employees in 21 offices, but have no work, no clients, and not a single 🐟 in this bowl?! 🧐

It's real. I interviewed last year. But it was a Skype interview. And the background did look like a Starbucks. Shit...

In Toronto they do work for Telus, a large telco, and the work is never worth sharing or showing. So that might be one reason.

I’ve freelanced for then. A weird organization to be sure. I was perplexed by their model. Couldn’t quite figure it out. They had no creatives and everyone seemed to work in media.

Is this why WPP fired Martin Sorrell? They found out he was using it as a way to launder money?

I think it's a holding company made up of a few smaller agencies and shops.

There is a lot of confusion regarding the new executive order for nonimmigration visa signed by orange man yesterday. This is an interpretation by immigration lawyers: By the terms of the order, it applies to individuals who are outside the U.S. without currently valid visas who are seeking to enter the U.S. The order does not appear limit processing of petitions filed with USCIS from within the U.S.

I expecting to receive an offer letter this afternoon and to walkthrough it with the hiring managers. I will also have a phone call with HR later this week for any additional questions. I gave my expected salary range (pretty wide and aggressive) during the interview process but haven’t talked specifics. I assume negotiations happen with HR instead of the hiring manager? Anyone have any insight? Thank you so much. First time interviewing outside of college

Hey all! Currently live in DC and thinking about moving to either: Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, or stay in DC. Where would you move/live considering: cost of living, housing prices, and job market. I feel like LA has a rough job market in terms of competitiveness of applications compared to DC/Austin but benefits elsewhere. Feel free to share anything else I should know! Thanks!

I have roughly 20K sitting in a high yield savings account as an emergency fund. Maxed out 401K but no other savings. Should I use half of it to pay down part of my 18K in student loans? I just worry

Always struggled w depression somewhat and go through low days where it’s hard to get out of bed. Usually spaced out though. But COVID has made this worse. Been very unable to put in consistent work. I live w my fiancé and he just told me he’s been thinking hard how to proceed w the relationship because he is brought low also by these struggles of mine and doesn’t want a partner who struggles w this (lazy wo willpower - paraphrasing). I don’t know what to do. He’s mentioned these things (cont)

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Can anyone share how they have terminated/laid off during a virtual only environment? Specifically several people at once. How does the process/logistics look? Wondering what is the best process/logistics to take for those being let go. Also, for those who stay, what worked best -communication wise? How have you handled equipment and any other security considerations given that the person(s) are not in the office.
