Going on a year at an agency in Accenture and I feel like I’m not developing fast enough. I’ve had one main project but I’m waiting around for months to join other projects to reach capacity. They fall through because the client drags things out. I want to work towards a promotion but my manager says I can’t be put forward because I don’t have enough projects under my belt. I can’t control that because the agency sets the work. Any advice? Accenture

Lol, I have had this epitome every few months for 10 years...yet here I still am
Just ranting. I'll probably be here for a few more years at least. Literally having "fuck this" then turning around and going "kidding, I need this" moment. Having said that, I still don't feel appreciated or get paid enough.
I always think about bouncing. But then i remember that i have no actual skills....🤔
Every few months I consider leaving this all behind to be an artist bum, and then I remember I have student debt 😑
@D3: where'd you go? @C1: to quote D2, "stay strong". I've been here many times and I'll be in this mindset countless more times. Glad to know I am not alone. @D4: peace. Where you off to?
@D2: thanks D2. I am trying really hard. @DD1: sorry. Financial burdens are real. 😔 @SA1: I would probably go back to MBA or a different consulting firm to get my pay up. I also very much like to go to a smaller firm where I am not just a number.
Those feelings are applicable to many. Be strong
This exact feeling is what prompted me to leave a month ago

Had one of these days today. Feel unappreciated and sad :(
