Classic McKinsey trying to bring money into it. I'm just saying I drink a lot

I have a strong feeling half this board would agree with you

I don't drink more. But I definitely get stronger drinks. The quality has shot 👆

I drink more all around. Quality, quality, cost

Ha and how much more do you think you spend on alcohol? Even if my drinking has increased a bit my budget for it has increased 5x.

money matters - may be he/she hypothesized that you are worried about all the $$ being spent on your increased drinking. 😂

The upshot is my tolerance has gone way up, so my getting drunk "sunk cost" has gone up as well. It's a nasty cycle

I don't think you know what a sunk cost is.

Thoughts on Queen and Slim?

When “working from anywhere” comes up at work & online, I've noticed considerable hesitation among older management-types concerned about company culture. Why do you think this is?

IMO, culture can be cultivated & nurtured virtually as easily as in person if you’re empathetic, tech-savvy, & sincere. Those having a hard time virtually were probably not very good at it in person, and if culture faded over time, it’s likely not because employees are working from outside the office.

The amount you pay turbo tax, a tax preparer or an accounting firm should be tax deductible. I shouldn’t have to pay money to give money to the government.

I am sending an email to the recruiter tomorrow to withdraw a previously accepted offer. The email is in my drafts. I have not mentioned the reason for renegating but in reality I have got $71k higher offer with many other benefits. I feel bad for doing it and want to end it in email conversation.
I am planning to not attend his call if any, regarding this.
What are your thoughts? Would you rather tell the truth on call or just send the email and avoid the call?

High school shooting and Gun reform
In solidarity of FL high school, students should padlock the high school gates nationwide until congress does its work to ban semi/automatics rifles. I call on all the parents to support the cause.
