I think I had a new job in the bag until I told them it was very important that I still get to see my kids at night. Basically saying I need flexibility. Never heard back...

Agreed with SD1. There are plenty of places that understand being (or trying to be!) a great parent, and being great at work, are not mutually exclusive. Keep your head up, the right thing will come. I work at a place that respects that balance, happy to chat more

Eff this! I’ve clocked in 72 hours so far this week and counting as I’m working all weekend. How about you? I’m starting happy hour early! Cucumber Lemon Thyme Fizz. This is supposed to be a mocktail but turned it into a cocktail and spiked with gin. Cheers to 7/15!

I’m a fairly shallow person so thought even if I get the best possible SO, I will lose interest sooner or later. But then I realized it’s also due to the fact that I just like the IDEA of being in love, but never can truly love anyone where I put them ahead of me/my needs. Anyone else feel this?

Car recommendations? Interested in 2-8 years used, compact, 4-door sedan, smaller is better, don't like hatchbacks. I find the Volvo S60 and Subaru Legacy appealing. Volvo maintenance $$$ is annoying though.
