I think I may be getting laid off today: got a strange meeting invite for a call with my VP & HR. Any advice?

I recently got laid off because of some strategic decisions by executives which led to operation cease in my whole business unit. I've 3+ years of experience in Automation testing. I've experience in selenium, rest assured, docker, dialogflow, Jenkins, and few more as well. Please help me find a job.

I got offer from IBM in my home location itself, with 18.5LPA fixed for 9 yea in automation testing. Here my manger is confusing me like layoff will after u join in IBM.. but I am in cts as 11.2 only .. but now I got SA promotion with 10 % hike .. and also no retnation for me also not there whether I can choose IBM or stay here .. kindly help guys .

Anyone dealt with age discrimination at work or thought they were fired because of it? I have a strong hunch I was let go because I'm older than most of the team and they're trying to get a "fresh perspective." To me it just sounds like they're firing anyone over 50.

Can you get fired for having low utilization as a senior? My billable hours this busy season have been much lower than my peers.

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.

Looking for a second car (we’re leaving NY for a lower cost of living). We already have alate model Q5. Budget is <= 35k. Prefer used/CPO.
