My weight positively correlates with my utilization.
Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

I have a gym addiction. I left the bench early today to work out.
Ugh p1 I wish I had the same addiction as you. I have a carbs addiction #phatass
I set a 2017 goal to not shop for anything unnecessary (clothes, shoes, bags, random items, etc) for the first 6 months. You'll realize that you already have enough of those items and you don't need more. I did this a few years ago. My Bf told me that he didn't think I could do it. Challenge accepted. Felt good to save the money and prove to myself (and him) that I could refrain from shopping. Good luck!
Mine is newfound. I was depressed over break but returned to my gym habit, and I suddenly feel like I am walking on air.
cc my girlfriend on this
If you think you want something put it on a list. Look back at the list in a month. If you still think the thing will make you happier, you can buy it.
I think that you have associated your personal laptop with shopping and blowing off steam. Try to integrate new activities into using it. Also, whenever you feel yourself in that furry, do a "set switch" aka get up and do a new activity for a half hour. This could be some type of compulsion to blow off work steam. Not full fledged OCD, but like an element of it. You might also be obsessing over the deals. I have all of my store deal emails go to unroll.me so that I don't see them. Try that or try setting up a whole new email address just for shopping. Try to up your self care and stress management routine. Also, there has been talk to people blowing off election stress aka Trump winning by doing a fuck ton of shopping. Sadly, I know that I did. I can't help it- November just had such great sales!
Sounds counterintuitive but stop with small purchases and only buy expensive things. You'll start to make purchases more carefully and enjoy stuff you've already bought instead of getting easily distracted with something else
Ask yourself if it is a need or a want three times before you purchase it
Mine is online shopping - literally deleted my accounts for all the sites I used and it helped
A couple of my friends instated a one in and one out policy. You can only buy a new shirt if you get rid of one and etc. I sometimes get a little carried away with Amazon so out of sight, out of mind. Don't go to the store if you don't think you can say no. If you're online, try not to go to their site but if you must...try putting it in your cart then revisit to see if you still feel the same way a couple of days later while remembering your problem.
C1 A1, both are amazing advice. My main problem is, when I get on my personal laptop I always end up going on my favorite stores websites or looking for deals, it's like there's no other use for the internet for me, I used to read articles, stories, blogs etc and now I don't have the Patience for it 😢
Unfortunately, that's on you. If you can't go on your laptop without shopping, you need to stay away from your personal laptop until you learn control. Find a different hobby to fill that need for fulfillment.
