Yes, it is a thing, and I’ve struggled with it a lot off and on. I just did my first triathlon in years, and while it was supposed to be a warm up to start training for bigger races again, I’m really struggling right now. I actually fell out of training after a really big race in 2016, raced some in 2017, but not since. I don’t have much advice, because I’m struggling right now too, but I do try to avoid putting off workouts, and if I get them done in the morning it seems to go the best.

Yes exactly, I did the half marathon as a half way milestone for a marathon in October that I signed up for but now I think I am depressed/too out of running to do it. It’s helpful to know someone else has gone through this too. Thank you for sharing

Sounds like burnout. Or maybe after taking a break after the big race, dopamine levels that were really high for a long time suddenly dropped? I’ve used the supplement Sam-E for mood maintenance. That works or me
