I think I’m finally burnt out from this WFH. Been totally unproductive the last few days and procrastinating. Started building a slide deck and ended up spending 10 hrs moving shapes around to design a floor plan of my dream home on ppt (which seems totally unattainable at this point). Wtf is wrong with me

EY GDS enterprise risk has rolled out three return to office surveys. I have said no to all of them. Some of the managers/SM are dying to make us come back to work so that they can do their policing.
I don't see a reason to come to office when I can do stuff from home. Anyhow I end up working till 12, can't spend more time on cabs.

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. How do you become a more connected person? I have cousins all over the US that I barely talk to. I live in TX, my dad lives in IL, my mom lives in FL and my sister lives in MI and I barely talk to them - a few texts per week and a couple visits per year.
