Thinking you are trapped in any job is an illusion. It’s the best option for where they are in at a given point of their career, opening the door for long term opportunities and/or financial stability.
Attorneys are conditioned to think conservatively and the ones who get trapped in misery can’t conceive of switching jobs or careers.
Find a good group at a good firm and you won’t feel “trapped” and actually enjoy the work. More people are doing that now with a hot lateral market and shortage of attorneys
These ppl are "trapped" because they want to.
I’m confused…are you at a firm now or are you just saying you could handle it if you were?
Frankly it’s demanding but a ton of this is based on. Firm/team + the individual. Sometimes people who are stressed and feel trapped will feel that way in any demanding job and for whatever reason are attracted to that kind of job (not alway)
