I don't feel that way, I am really excited about my position and I hope I can continue to learn a lot of things, I am still trying to adapt because my time seems to be short but I hope I can overcome it.
Hope it's everything you want it to be!
Sometimes it happens that what we want is not what we need, surely you feel alone because those who were your co-workers now look at you in a different way thanks to the fact that you now have an executive position.
Could be, i definitely feel like I'm a bit more distant from lot of people
I felt the same way, and that is why I retrained two years after becoming an MFO, I dedicated my knowledge to my own company, I chose my own work culture and now I am happy as CEO.
It all depends on the environment in which you operate, the position of an executive is a usually heavy and very lonely position, being a boss and having more power is not always good.
Agreed, I guess it's just not for everyone
It happened to me that I had to get used to the changes in my relationships with my coworkers, I had to distance myself from certain people who felt untouchable because their "friend" was the boss, so certain ties were cut, and with that came the loneliness for a while, then I got used to it and everything got better.
If I felt alone, until I understood that I could no longer be accompanied, that is to say, that I had to make direct decisions and that they could influence many people in a negative way.
Can't imagine working my ass off to get here just to regret it all. My condolences on your realization, I hope you figure it out
Nope, this is everything I wanted and now I get to soak it all in
