I love the product I sell currently, but my company was acquired recently and comp plans changed. Any advice on doing this in a tactful way?

I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 11 years with 10 of those in the field as a technician. As a technician I was considered very capable and was always considered one of the best where ever I worked. I’ve moved on to sales and currently work inside sales at a manufacturer rep. I’m still searching for the outside sales role that I want but I keep running into the “I lack outside sales experience”. How did you get into outside sales? Any tips on how I can break into it Thanks for the help
Is it weird that I have never networked to obtain a role? I remember I was once asked by a colleague“who I knew” and feeling offended🤷🏽♀️🥴. Anyone else have extreme success applying “cold”?
Seeking a referral for a Customer Marketer role. I am based out of the Midwest, but since most things are remote these days will let anyone refer me.
Hello Fishes, I have been hired as senior tech consultant. I have a few questions about the role, please do help answer them if you have any information.
1) what is the salary bracket for the senior tech consultant who has an experience of 6.5 years?
2) I wasn't offered with any signing bonus. Should I be enquiring about it? .
3) Is the work format hybrid or do we need to be in office every day?

Base is 60k OTE 85k, but 120% commission cap. I support 10 AEs whose base is 55k. I have 13 years experience in my field, including 5 working in the position of my now prospects. Closed dozens of deals at trade shows, created/presented virtual and in-person seminars, create onboarding and scripts for the reps I support as a SE and am required to be on majority of demos across all time zones. I know I’m getting screwed, but how bad?
I see in job portals about job opening for Service Integration Manager. Can anyone please refer me??
I'm considering pivoting to copywriting because that's the part of my role I'm best at -- a lot of the account management stuff is draining, but I can whip out social and marketing copy quickly & I enjoy it. Wondering if anyone has insight / leads on making the jump from accounts to the copy side when applying for jobs? 5 YOE, 3 in-agency with a mix of automotive and pharma + a side gig as a published author with muliple books (hoping that'll help on the creative / copy end?) Thank you!
In a low level marketing position that I learned on the job. I'd like to make this career but don't know where to start with regard to course/education. I took a Foundations in SM Marketing Certificate but that's it. Thinking google ads/seo? Not even sure what direction is feasible/lucrative/growing. I'm a 45yo mom working from home w only an outdated associates in my pocket so the long college thing isn't an option. I need to be making a living wage while I learn.
What have you gotten as a gift from the new baby to their big sibling? I’ve heard it’s a nice way to introduce baby, but I’m curious if people do it!
My bf says I have unrealistic expectations for him. We got into an argument because I feel like he doesn’t listen/remember things well. Sometimes I wish he just wouldn’t say anything, but when he doesn’t acknowledge something, I get mad. However when he does acknowledge something, sometimes I’m not happy with the response because I was just venting, bot looking for advice, and wish he gave me a generic supportive answer so it shows at least he listened? Idk...I feel like I’m turning into my mom

Awfully quiet here. I have been looking at news and seeing weird stuff. Do 70% of Republicans really believe that Trump lost due to voter fraud? That is an insanely high number.

So I just got back from Vacation which I asked people to make sure my projects were still moving along while I'm away.
Anybody else get the feeling that their projects don't get prioritized when they're away?
When asking a dev what a ‘couple of days’ meant to them running out of work, I was told “I can’t quantify that, it could be tomorrow” and nobody except me seemed to take issue with that...

Right now I’m sitting at $102K CAD, plus a bonus (usually under $10K). I suspect my salary is not up to market standard and I may be behind the eight ball. My stats:
- Currently a Senior Project Manager, working on both internal projects AND projects for clients where I bill
- 13 YOE, 6 YOE direct PM experience/role
- National Professional Services Firm
- Canada based
Leaving current job to move to big agency in an account/pm hybrid role but title is AS. Any advice? Will it be hard to get back to PM role later in life?
What’s the average salary for a senior creative project manager at a traditional ad agency in NY? I kind of have a feeling I’m being fleeced at my current agency and just need some perspective. 😘

Anyone know (or is) a Chief Program Officer or other C-lecel exec, who actually has PM expertise and responsibilities? Ogilvy had a chief Delivery officer, Gunther Schumacher for a while. He left the role in Q1 2019. He didn't have a PM background. - https://www.mediapost.com/publications/article/293931/ogilvy-reorganizes-with-a-focus-on-delivery.html
Robyn Thombacher does have PM Chops. She moved from an Ops role at Digitas to COO at WundermanThompson and just took on Global Head of Workforce
Anyone else get stuck building process for the whole company because PM touches everything? Not that I mind, I just want to spend more time doing rather than figuring out who I need to get permission from.
My company has each employee set quarterly goals for professional development. Any ideas for goals for a marketing project manager. I’m at a stuck as milestones and completing certain projects are so dependent on other people/departments. Looking for ideas on goals that can be more in my control. All ideas appreciated!
DO YOU JUST ASSUME THE COST OF YOUR MARKETING ACTIVITIES? I am looking to allocate their cost in the marketing budget in a way that won't rely on several layers of assumptions. How do you reliably estimate the cost of different marketing activities (email, social, web, etc) when you don't have specific people or tools allocated to each function and costs are spread across many channels? Ads seems the easiest, but even then there's time and overheads... I've been looking for a reliable model.
Anyone have any experience with finding different roles at a company you’re interested in and qualified for? Does it look bad applying for more than one roll? Any suggestions on how to navigate the situation are appreciated. Thanks!
