Hi Folks,
I have 3 yoe in Application Security.
I have an offer from Leadsquared inc for around 17lpa. I am currently working at almost half of the current package.
I dont have any idea like wlb and politics in LeadSquared.
Current increment is due in November but i dont think Synopsys will give 100% increment. At best, my guess they can raise it upto 12-13 lpa.
Is it worth it to go to LeadSquared from Synopsys?

This is why you don’t invest in the market if your investment horizon is less than 5 years. You’re going to have to be patient.
I am honestly sure what they are saying.
Why can’t you sell stocks at a loss?

Thank you for posting this because it is something people warn about but it hits home with people when someone shares their experience.
I don’t think you messed up. If buying a house isn’t on your priority list anymore in the next 3-5 years, invest that. If you still think you want to buy in the next 3-5 years, keep it in the HYSA and keep saving.

Don't worry about it. The market is already cooling down. Just save what you can and learn from this.
Can you just put a lower down payment on a house?
Selling at a loss is only painful mentally. If you need the money, particularly for real estate, cut your losses (sell) and put that money into purchase of your home, which is a better investment now (housing prices on the rise) and for the future. Make sure you keep enough in reserve for an emergency fund and home repairs which will be inevitable, especially if buying a used home that isn't new construction. And I wouldn't dig into any retirement savings for a home purchase.
