I work at home for a big financial company, we all are connected through Microsoft teams, would it be too forward if me to try and message someone in the communications department just about general questions to try and build a connection there? I’d love to stay at my company and just move to corporate internal or external communications.

Don’t understand people who say someone’s profession means they shouldn’t comment on politics (ie. athletes, actors, etc.). Donald Trump literally went from reality TV to politics, which is his right as an American. We also have a football coach running for Senate. Also within his rights.
