I feel this completely. I can't resist shooting dirty looks at people who unfold clothes and then leave them in a pile.
Same! I just try to be more mindful of workers now since I know exactly what they go through.
This all the way. Once you experience the other side of it, it's hard to forget the struggles of working retail lol
Well, I wouldn't mind if more customers helped us out like that but perhaps it's a bit much to ask haha
Yes, this is SO me. My kids hate shopping with me because I always make them put everything back. One time my daughter tried telling me "people get paid to straighten them out" so I made her pick up like 20 shirts off the floor and hang them up PROPERLY. She never complained about it again. But she likes shopping with her Dad more than me and I think this is one of the reasons
Trust me, no matter where you work, you will find the same phenomenon. Some people seem incapable of forming a coherent thought let alone realizing that they are impacting the people around them through their actions or lack thereof. Just roll your eyes and move on...
Ugh, it's like that where I work too. People end up damaging cards because they try to shove them into a space they won't fit, so the cardstock gets all bent. They'll do this right in front of me too, just say "I don't know where this goes" and try to cram it into the nearest spot they can find. I asked my boss if we could just set out a table or shelf where people can put cards they decided they don't want, but she said no because it would be "an eyesore." Unlike a bunch of crinkled up cards, I guess?
