Also, what are the chances tbat i will get an offer letter although delayed, are there cases where offer letter is not issued for internal reasons?

Even if we were friendly neighbors, I’d trash any homemade food that my neighbor dropped off. Zero chances. Depends on your state I guess.
VP1 — I’m aware that’s what the CDC is saying (now). Doesn’t change the fact that I have generally tried to protect my bubble in all of this.

Lovely ! Definitely not weird ! Holiday spirit :) !
A tiny suggestion, i would just check for any allergies before sharing it with them.

Yea in the south this is standard and very welcome at least
I just dropped off cookie tins at 4 of my coworkers houses. But I asked them if it was okay first.

The CDC has said that's fine. I've received baked goods and just put them in another container. So maybe just put them in a zip lock. But I think it's a nice idea. And it is the thought that counts anyways
Per WHO/CDC guidelines, there is no substantiated evidence that COVID is transmitted via food/food packaging and the primary mode of transmission is through droplets in the air (especially when in close contact to the infected person or when in an enclosed environment w/o ventilation.) Even if there happened to be particles on the food, the virus would not last long and would die in your digestive system. Just don't sneeze on the food or heavily breathe into it.
If you wanna be extra safe, wear a mask when making the food, put it in a container, and drop it off in front of your neighbor's house. After asking them if they're ok with it.
I would add a label with the ingredients just in case someone has a restrictive diet or allergies. I made dinner for all my friends last Ramadan since I couldn't invite them over. And they loved the idea and they all did it for me and each other afterwards so it made it memorable. This is a great idea to do something special for loved ones during the holidays and keeping safe.

I think it’s a nice holiday gesture, especially this year. We do it around our neighborhood, sometimes. But I would only eat things from people I actually know.
