1. Buy some crazy socks. Ease into it with primary colours and non-political print (eg stripes) and go from there. Follow your fancy.

Society socks is a new one that does a monthly subscription thing and I’m a big fan. Creative and high quality

This seems like a pretty silly and superficial question. Just wear whatever you want and wear it with confidence. No one will bat an eye, and it’s more about how you feel with what you’re wearing than what is on trend or what your bro-workers think

I do a SockFancy subscription, fun way to keep the surprises coming

Buy socks you like and would wear anyways and wear them. Don’t buy socks you don’t like to fit in, that’s lame.

I love the Pair of Thieves brand socks at Target - fun and some smart designs, pretty cheap.

So my wife basically said she doesn’t want to have sex anymore. Don’t want to do anything about it. After couple kids, doesn’t feel it anymore. Also said it wasn’t anything I did and there’s no one else. I understand women’s body changes after child birth but can’t help thinking it’s gonna suck being in a sexless marriage. We’re still attractive and haven’t turned into couch potatoes…yet Happy Thanksgiving!

How much stock do you put on benefits? I have two offers with stark differences in benefits. Job 1: role I want, but benefit sucks (2 weeks paternity leave, 20% coinsurance). Job 2: role is okay but higher level and great benefits (16 weeks paternity, 0% coinsurance, 5 more days of vacation). Total comp is the same though. I wonder if I should just focus on role but Job 2 is a large company, so I can move around after 2-3 years I’d expect. Thoughts?

Interested in your opinions. Last year I took a government job. Before I was working as an independent consultant and netting more - obviously without pension and benefits though. With extra medical expenses this year (outside of government insurance) I realize I’m simply not making enough money to do what I want and need to to (medical + travel + investing).
