Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Any Clinical Research Coordinator or CRA here ?
Hello, everyone! I am new to fishbowl, the Healthcare field, and fairly new to my company. One of my primary goals, besides finding the highest quality talent to join our team, is to expand my network. If anyone here is willing to send me a LinkedIn connect request I would be very appreciative! It will be a mutual benefit, I assure you.

Have you looked into Home Modifications careers? You'd be able to work for yourself. You could also start a blog & get into writing about OT and therapy for lymphedema patients & their families or caretakers. You could partner with other OT bloggers, get podcast interviews, etc. It would be a great way to share your knowledge to help others. There's also home care for lymphedema patients. You'd have to market yourself with all of these options, but they would probably all be fulfilling and enjoyable for you.
Research.
Clinical informatics is what an OT I know went into
Hiya! I am a PTA and switched over to being a clinical liaison about 8 years ago. Look into business development, clinical liaison, clinical navigator…hope this helps. FYI, I don’t miss treating at all lol
I've had friends recently start business doing home lymphedema and also caregiver education and home modifications.
You can look into Home Health, skilled nursing or opening up your own business.
I am so surprised to hear you are having trouble finding a position treating only lymphedema patients! It was such a need for the hospital system I worked for and the 2 therapists that saw these patients were always booked solid. Have you reached out to any larger hospitals near you with cancer centers?
That being said- I’ve been working non-clinically for a year in O&P as a clinic manager. My only caution is not to jump entirely if you still enjoy treatment and are just burnt out. The grass is not always greener. I am glad I had the opportunity to build on my leadership skills but I truly miss the patient care aspect!
Insurance. One of my instructors left teaching for insurance. I think her job description is to determine if kids with special needs need OT.
