Run far away...
She keeps saying no? I didnt realize both parties had to agree to break up. If one person wants out, it should be respected.
Super nice but not willing to hear your reasoning for wanting to break up? Just speculating, but she sounds "conditionally" nice
You already called her an ex, how are you still together?
Make the decision that is right for you. "Giving in" (temporarily) to make someone else "happy" is a double edged dagger that will leave both unhappy. Think about the relationship, what you want out of it, and then make a smart, informed decision. It will be extremely difficult. But you just have to stick with it.
Dragging this on longer if you've already made a decision helps no one. It just wastes both of your time and gives her false hope/time to become further attached, making the eventual parting hurt more. The best thing for both of you and the kind thing to do is to be honest and firm and allow yourselves to start building separate futures.
Why do you not see a future, esp if she's super nice, not hot enough?
Super jealous and doesn't trust me even after a year and a half of dating
Ah, yea, just tell her that and break up then, be honest and open
Be honest, open and communicate that firmly.
If you don't see a future, "giving in" is just you wasting time. Valuable valuable time that you can be using to meet someone you DO see a future with. Rip off the bandaid.
Have you ever heard from anyone that break ups are easy? They never are but people do it when a relationship is beyond repair. You need to do it if you thing it will make you happy in the long run. You owe it to yourself and to her! She will cry and mop for couple of months but eventually will move on. No one ever died from breakup syndrome.
Cover that stump pal, or you're gonna get a phone call with a lifelong commitment to that nutjob that you don't want one from one of the times you gave in.
Then run. The other way. Fast.
