To those who are married or getting married soon — did you take your husband/partner’s last name? If so, did you drop the maiden name completely or hyphenate it? I know this is now somewhat of an “ancient” concept and a lot of women choose to keep their names nowadays. I’m leaning towards hyphenating so that when we have children I still have the family name but just curious to see what the thought process was if you kept your last name or dropped it.

Random q, but I have an adult female cat that hasn't gotten along with some other cats in the past. However, I'd love to have a kitten and love them to be friendly and give each other company. Before I adopt a kitten and then maybe be in a situation where they get along, I'm wondering if I can foster one for a week or so and see how my cat reacts and interacts with the new kitten.
