ZS Associates Hello folks, I am a permanent employee of Persistent. I am deputed at the client side. My client is an ZS associate. Recently I have resigned from persistent. But ZS is very happy with my work. They don't want me to go. My ZS manager has asked the persis manager to retain me OR remove the cooling period clause, ZS is ready to hire me as a permanent employee. I will be very happy is ZS takes me as Permanent employee. But will persistent remove cooling period clause? Persistent Systems Limited ZS

No, leave. Asap. Before it’s too late and you get stuck.
Mental health comes first!
"No matter where you go, there you are."
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles but will leaving materially help? You will still be you, trying to solve these personal challenges. I'm hopeful you can find a way to feel better without unending more of your life.
I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles, it sounds like you're in a really hard place right now. I'm glad you have the ADHD and OCD diagnoses but, without workplace accommodations, their value can be limited.
And I think the "truly human" gets thrown around quite a bit but the milage varies dramatically. I'll be on FB and people talk about their experiences at Accenture and I think "do we work at the same company?" I'm in security and the folks in my network are very empathic but I know that's not everyone's reality. As someone said above, you've got to prioritize you. If you see no way to be healthy and happy in the organization then you should absolutely leave.
If you would like to connect -- including if you want to email or phone -- feel free to DM. I can't fix our organization but I'm a half-decent listener.

Leave whenever you feel is best for you and go to a place where you feel at home
If you’re open to it, Have you talked to any folks in the pride erg that could direct you to resources or guidance for a team that isn’t allowing you to be who you are? Make your concerns heard, I’d wager most leaders will not be happy to hear a project is not maintaining firm values.
I’m a member of the Pride ERG, and it has a great group of individuals (including leadership). Agree with A4. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Nothing about our jobs is worth expending our physical or mental health. Nor our personal relationships. Time for you to make a change.
Why do you think that hiding your sexuality would be any easier at another company? Don’t assume.
OP I’m very sorry to hear that, and I wish I could help more. As an ally, if there’s anything I can do, please let me know - even if it’s just someone to talk to 🙏🏼
Gotta do what’s best for you, OP. Good luck on your journey, and feel free to DM if you ever need to talk.

Are you at Accenture in the United States? In my experience firms have been big about supporting LGBT initiatives. Accenture spends a lot of money promoting their involvement in LGBT initiatives and keeping an HRC 100 rating. Have you joined the Accenture resource groups. It sounds like you should still leave but maybe your OCD has you projecting negative perceptions among your peers that don’t exist. PwC, for instance, has been very good about it and one of the former heads of HRC just joined Accenture to help with that work there.
This is a very sensitive topic. Email Julie directly. No joke. The firm will accommodate as much as she allows and that includes evefy single project, every single team member! Another point to consider is the firm does not doubt your performanve or ability to get things done, otherwise it would not have promoted you (in a year)!
Sincerely you first need to work on you before moving , D is going to be the same with the same stressors. Mental Health goes 1st , In my exp , ACN is very supportive with their employee resource groups
As someone who is about to go on LOA for mental health reasons, I think you should take time off. I’m so sorry your team isn’t welcoming your sexuality… that’s not a good environment at all. There’s no problem with not liking consulting (it’s not the best personality fit for everyone including me), but it’s NOT okay that you aren’t able to be yourself around your team. If you want to switch to startups, go for it!
As a side note, for certain types of LOA you don’t need approval from project leadership although I’d definitely openly communicate with them. I recommend checking out the policy site for your options.
Take care and I hope your situation gets better ❤️
wait why do you feel you have to hide your sexuality? accenture accepts people across the spectrum of LGBTQ+ I have multiple people in my teams that are open about it and it’s great. I’m an MD and I fully back them
